Somewhere in the world a cuckoo clock is missing its cuckoo
Orly Taitz (a cuckoo without a clock)
< Orly, at home in happier times, on the front porch of her cuckoo clock. (actual photo at left)
From Monday, August 3, 2009. Orly in the media viper room: Via Rumproast, video of Orly's visit with MSNBC's David Schuster and Tamron Hall
I'm still pretty much convinced that this entire Orly Taitz Traveling Birfer Bumpkin Circus is nothing but a fabulous madcap burlesque show intended to entertain people like me (and you too). While simultaneously convincing the Wingnuts, and Freepies, and PUMAs, and Lou Dobbs, and Senator James Inhofe (R-Looner State), and all the boing-eyed dolts at FOX Nooze, etc., that it is in fact some sort of - breaking! - developing! - constitutional crisis! - not seen since the discovery of gold fringe on the American flag adorning Eleanor Roosevelt's cabin near Springwood! But, then again, I might be crazy.
Nevertheless, the show must go on!:
Birther leader Orly Taitz loses it, live on MSNBC (Alex Koppelman, Salon.com):
And a fabulous madcap train wreck burlesque it was. Eat your heart out Stephen Colbert!

Full disclosure: I was supposed to be on MSNBC this afternoon talking about the Birthers and their release of what they claim is a copy of President Obama's Kenyan birth certificate. (It's really an obvious forgery.) But shortly after I agreed to go on, the booker called and said they had to cancel. The reason why, it turns out, is that they'd booked de facto Birther movement leader Orly Taitz instead.

The segment was, from the very beginning, a train wreck.
