Alert
Blogger kindly informs us they will be down at 2:00 p.m. PST, for 45 minutes. That's 5 p.m. for those of us on the East Coast, and translating Blogger's interpretation of time for those of you who live in the real world, I can guess that downtime could stretch out for anywhere from an hour to 2 or more. So if you click on us and we time out, be forewarned.
In the meantime, it's been a beautiful weekend for weather, and I just don't have the heart to deal with the usual array of bad news and bad actors. So as a respite (at least for me) here's a photo taken of Glastonbury Tower when we were in Britain last May. The weather was warm and dry, the flora and fauna were bursting with life, and I learned why William Blake and Ralph Vaughn Williams were so madly in love with their native soil. Just looking at the picture brings down my blood pressure. Hope it does the same for you.
