Also in Florida, a failed optical scan machine is forcing election officials to recount about 13,000 ballots in Volusia County. [And] Officials in Miami-Dade may not be able to count their 90,000 absentee ballots until Thursday. In Broward officials are also concerned that they may not be able to count their 92,000 absentee ballots by the end of the night either, according to the Associated Press.
