Throwing the money changers out of the temple—How I wish we could!

From the etext of the King James Bible at the University of Virginia, Mark 11:15-17:

[15] And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;

[16] And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.

[17] And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

[CORRENTE] So, Mel—may I call you Mel?—what's the difference between buying and selling in the temple, and selling two-inch nails, pewter reproductions of those used to nail Jesus to the cross, hanging from leather thongs ($16.99) as promotional items at your film?
[GIBSON] Well, we're selling the nails in movie theatres, not in the temple.
[CORRENTE] So, your movie The Passion is just a straightforward business proposition, like any other movie?

And, oh yeah, the "den of thieves" part—that would be Halliburton, "Kenny Boy" Lay, the brokers who are about the loot Social Security... Well, you know the list as well as I do.
